DJ Ammo

Just finished a cover for DJ Ammo’s new drum ‘n’ bass mix, available on Soundcloud, and for sale if you hit him up on Facebook. Tried to keep it simple and clean, the opposite of a typical dance music cover (although I fell into the cliche of employing the well overused A/E ligature from Avant Garde). Had some good feedback from it so far, what do you think? Some better resolution shots on my main site.


The Cinematic Orchestra Live at the Roundhouse

Managed to, ahem, ‘borrow’ this poster from the Cinematic Orchestra gig I went to the other week. Simple but nice. In addition, the gig was amazing, with some unannounced special guests including the one and only Roots Manuva to perform ‘All Things To All Men’. Good night indeed. Rubbish picture as well, apologies.

Crazy work made entirely of paper from the Danishman Peter Callesen. I don’t think me or anyone else has ever seen anything quite like this. Objectified is a feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them. It’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. It’s about the designers who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. It’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability.
